One sunny spring day, the sun was out and so was the chef. So the King made a delicious pudding. It was round and brown and smelled really delicious.
The King took the pudding outside where the fat Queen of the world said "Don't move one little ring or crown! It might be too hot. I will taste it for you." It wasn't too hot.
The King picked up his golden spoon. "Stop Dad! It will freeze you." said the Prince. "No it won't. It was nice!"
Since the King couldn't get any of his own pudding, he hid in the horse stables. But guess who came? It was the knight that walked in to get his horses. "Mmmm! What is that lovely smell?" he said.
"Oh no" whispered the King. Then the knight's head popped behind the latch. "Stop! That might be too sour. It will make your lips funny." said the knight and he tried some. "No it wasn't to sour."
"Ahhhhhhhh! THERE IS NO MORE FOR ME!!!" the King cried out. The King was so upset, he threw the plate on the ground. Then he hid. When he had calmed down, the King made a cake that smelled even more delicious, looked even more round and he even thought it looked more delicious.
"STOP! That might be too hot or cold or sour" cried the Prince, Queen and Knight. "We will taste it for you."
"No" said the King. "I will try it myself." And that is exactly what he did and he got FAT.

ReplyDeleteI felt sorry for the King until I read he got FAT, maybe it was a good idea that he had to share after all.
